The firm's interior designer (and wife of the owner), Kristen has provided interior design for all of our school facilities since 2001. Kristen has an architectural back-ground and is the Chair of Harrisburg's Historic Architectural Review Board for 8 years.
Kristen believes that children will rise to the level of their lowest expectation and her goal is to create environments for young people that extend the hope and enthusiasm of their teachers and mentors - inspiring and encouraging them in a lifetime love of learning. Her recent projects include Wellsboro Area High School, Charlotte Lappla Elementary, Hepburn-Lycoming Elementary, Chestnutwold Elementary, Manoa Elementary and Hazleton Intermediate Elementary.
An alumnus of Pennsylvania State University, Kristen's study in architecture emphasized interactive 3D Computer applications and programming, with post-graduate studies in animation at the Vancouver Film School. Though she began her professional career as an architectural designer, she has shifted to the technology industry becoming computer technology director for a large corporate firm. She has since served in various capacities in corporate television communications, software design, computer human interface design, and consumer technology product management, including the front-end interface design for the launch of MapQuest in 1995. She continues to provides web technology services for select clients specializing in web-based, interactive database application design.
