Montoursville's McCall Middle School Rededicated
This 1970s school was completely modernized and "renewed". The school needed new library
space, a larger cafeteria and a quality performance space, but they didn't want to take
away land from their athletic programs. Instead, a new home for those functions was found
within an internal courtyard.

Rededication of Summerfield Elementary School in North Carolina
This initiative to expand the cafeteria and library took on the additional tasks of unifying
the school's collection of 21 buildings (including 14 modular classrooms) and solving a myriad
of cicurlation isses across the site. These changes have improved the infrastructure so that
when the next expansion is need, the site at the center of this small town can continue to
operate safely for the next many decades.

McKissick Associates to Provide Master Planning Study for Erie, Pennsylvania
The city of Erie and it's 23 schools is undertaking a complete review of all district facilities
and examining how they will best be able to serve the educational needs of Erie's students.
McKissick Associates InSights (educational planning group) will be providing options so
that Erie can maintain or even increase it's educational programs while reducing facilities costs.
Renovations at Mid-Century Era Mount Union Jr/Sr High Completed
Additions and renovations to the Mt. Union Jr/Sr High School are completed!
This school was originally constructed in 1956 with its last major renovation in 1964.
Its quality construction and materials coupled with excellent maintenance meant that
renovations were a viable, practical and economical alternative for this excellent
example of a mid-century school.

Reading Citadel Intermediate High School Wins AIA Citation
A panel of european judges awarded the Reading Citadel Intermediate High School
with an AIA Citation of Architectural Excellence. The former St. Joseph's hospital
reopened as a school for 9th and 10th graders in September 2010 and already there
have been improvements in student education as a result of this facililty.

Wiltsie Performing Arts Center Opens: Will host Superstar Group Chicago.
Historic restoration of the Hazleton Intermediate Elementary School has the final
jewel in its crown as the 1926 grand auditorium reopens to serve as the community's
performing arts center. The procenium, replete with gold leaf trim, frames a blue
velvet austrian curtain. New orchestra and balcony seating are anchored with
cast iron aisle-seat ends reproduced from the few surviving originals.
