Construction continues at Mt. Union Jr/Sr High

Work on the Mount Union Junior/Senior High School continues as the school adds on to serve the student population and the local community. Facilities availble to the community include a new fitness center and the school's new library which will serve as a branch of the county's public library system.

Housing for returning veterans ready for new tenants

Funded by HUD, the Volunteers of America's Dauphin County Living Center was completed in November 2009. Constructed to house returning veterans it features a mixture of fully ADA accessible and visitable apartments.

Design for Summerfield Elementary nearing completion

The Summerfield Elementary School near Greensboro, NC is nearing the end of the design phase. The school's very compact site provided a number of challenges for our design team.

McCall Middle School renovations now underway

With project bids under budget the McCall Middle School's zero energy library is now under construction. In addition to a 20 KW photo voltaic array, the 1968 building will be geothermally heated & cooled by 54,000 vertical lineal feet of closed loop wells. The project is Pennsylvania's first school to seek certification under the Green Building Initiatives (GBI) Green Globes rating system.

Big Spring receives two solar grants for new elementary

Big Spring School District has received 2 solar engery grants for its new Plainfield Elementary School. The new school has a goal of a LEED Silver Rating

Reading "Citadel" High School nearing completion

Housed in a former hospital constructed in phases between 1870 and 1988, the Reading "Citadel" Intermediate HS is nearing a spring 2010 completion. At a project cost of $72 m, the 323,000 SF building will house four 9-10th grade magnate high schools.
