Williamsport Area Middle School Nears Completion

The Williamsport Area School District's new middle school is taking form from its previous shape as the Roosevelt School. As Williamsport restructures its district schools, the Roosevelt building has been adapted to house the district office and the new consolidated middle school program.

Summerfield Elementary Historic Gymnasium has a "Shiny" New Roof

The sun glints off the new metal roof of the historic Summerfield Elementary School near Greensboro, NC. The old stone gymnasium, long enjoyed by both students and community was in need of exterior restoration and a new roof. This restoration, far from being a mere facelift, should allow the gymnasium to serve Summerfield for another 100 years. This project follows on the heals of a major renovation which was completed over a year ago and included a new two story classroom addition, core areas and unified internal configuration to provided greater security for students.

Erie City Schools Continues Rebalancing Process

Erie City Schools is once again reviewing data in pursuit of the most efficient configuration for their district's facilities and students. As enrollment declines in the region, Erie is streamlining their facility needs in order to improve programs and opportunities for their students. A community consortium is concurrently looking at K-14 and vocational program extensions to prepare students for modern careers.
